Honoring the past and celebrating the present are really GOOD THINGS!

Lights….Camera….Bulldogs! JISD celebrated Homecoming 2025 all week!

Beginning on Sunday, November 2 with decorating the gym and beginning construction of the bonfire, the week started off with a bang and remained busy and festive to the end. Dress up days and a mini pep rally were followed by the Senior Parade and the “Rally in the Valley” Community Pep Rally and Bon Fire on Thursday evening. Friday included food trucks, tailgating, Homecoming Court introductions, pre-game activities, and the Bulldogs taking on the Tarkington Longhorns. Festivities concluded on Saturday evening with a Homecoming Dance in the Shell Gym.

Superintendent John Seybold and the Jasper ISD Board of Trustees are proud to recognize the following:

The New TAFE Club (Texas Association of Future Educators) attended the area 5 conference at Sam Houston State University. Yvijon Bush won the “Blooming Challenge" Award.
JHS would like to BRAG on our amazing Top Dawg Teachers, especially our Top Dawg CTE Teachers for being instrumental in ensuring the Class of 2026 succeeded in building the 2025 Bonfire!
A huge thank you to our incredible parents and community partners for their generous donations and support. Your teamwork truly made this year’s bonfire and gym decorations a huge success. What a perfect example of partnership in action!
A new Jasper Junior High School "Pawedcast" has dropped!
Deep East Texas College and Career Alliance Director Nicole Colvin served as a panelist speaking on education and workforce development in a session titled, "Partners in Progress: Education and Workforce Development" at the Texas Forest Country Partnership Summit held at Stephen F. Austin State University on November 5. Mrs. Colvin and Superintendent John Seybold were also on hand to celebrate Mr. Eddie Hopkins being awarded the Silver Bucket Award by the Texas Forest Country Partnership for his dedication to regional economic development, community leadership, and advancing workforce opportunities across the region.
