Our Principal

Few Principal Message

Greetings,

My name is Kimberly Johnson Washington, and I am honored to be appointed the new Principal of Jean C. Few Primary School. As a graduate of Jasper High School and member of this community, it is my utmost pleasure to serve students, faculty, and my community in this capacity. Our school community has dedicated, talented members committed to doing what is in the best interest of our students. We, as a team, will continue to put students first at Jean C Few Primary School and work diligently to ensure their growth and success.

My professional background is rooted in Jasper Independent School District beginning as a para-professional, teacher, assistant principal and now principal. This year is my 23rd year in education and 7th consecutive year here at Few Primary. The scope of my classroom experience consists of teaching kindergarten, third grade, seventh grade English, and seventh and eighth grade history and eight years of assistant principal experience in the Jasper district. I obtained my Bachelors of Science and Master of Education degree in Administration with Principal certification from Lamar University at Beaumont.

In addition to my professional achievements, my greatest accomplishment is my family. I am a wife to my loving, supportive husband, Brian Washington, and mother of ten children, nine who have graduated from or are still attending school in JISD. As a parent, I always want what is best for my children and as principal, I will work tirelessly to ensure your children have the best possible experiences at Jean C. Few Primary School.

With great delight, as the new principal of Jean C. Few Primary School, I look forward to serving students, teachers, parents, and community members throughout this school year. My door is always open to you, and I sincerely welcome your input and support. I am excited about all we will accomplish together for our students during the course of this school year.
