Superintendent John Seybold and the Jasper ISD Board of Trustees are proud to recognize the following:

  • Jasper Junior High Bulldogs of the Month are Journee Thomas (6th Grade), Lily Wilson (7th Grade), and Arlis McCool (8th Grade)
  • JJHS Extended Instruction Friday went great
  • From Victor Williams (JHS Principal): I would like to take a moment to BRAG on our counselors in the GO Center. Thank you for the dedication, professionalism, and care you bring to our school community every single day. Our counselors play a vital role in supporting our students’ academic, social, and emotional growth, while also serving as partners for our faculty, staff, and parents. Your commitment and positive impact you have on our students is not unnoticed. We would also like to thank the entire GO Center team. Our registrar and counselor secretary are essential to keeping everything running smoothly (enrollment and records to daily support).Thank you for all your hard work – Believe!
  • From Latrica Sutton (GO Center/CCMR Counselor), Katy Gibbs (JHS Counselor), and Cydnye Boyd (JHS Counselor): This week, the GO Center would like to offer a brag to those who gave of themselves to organize, drive for, chaperone, etc. - two of our best field trips offered to our students each year. On Wednesday, the Juniors traveled to Lufkin for a Financial Literacy event. Mr. Bernard Brock did the organizing and pre-activity engagement to make the day successful. Thank you to Randall Reich, Doug Hudman, and Eric Guillory for driving. Thank you to Mrs. Jimell Powell for assisting with chaperoning our females. On Thursday, our seniors travelled to Workforce Solutions Youth Career Expo at Ford Park in Beaumont. Once again, Mr. Brock stepped up to organize - including securing sack lunches. Thank you to Coach Hudman, Coach Guillory, Coach Mitchell and Mrs. Powell for driving our students safely there and back. Memories were made and skills were gained! Grateful for amazing team members!
  • From Coach Mitchell (JHS Girls Powerlifting Coach): Kamryn Bowie is ranked #1 in the region. Zoei Grant is ranked #4 in the region.
  • From Shana Hearnsberger (Secondary Literacy Coach): I would like to brag on the JHS history department. They have worked hard to learn a new curriculum this year so they can provide our students with the best resources. They continually go above and beyond to help the students at JHS grow.
  • From Bernard Brock (Social Studies Dept. Chair): Samantha Melendez has shown great growth and maturity. She is an "A" student and I enjoy having her in my class.
  • From Jennifer Quintavalle (Art Teacher): The students below have been accepted into the 2026 Protege Competition and Exhibition: Cadyn Whitton – “Aiden”; Grant Rohde – “Quiet Garden” ; and Zach Camacho – “Fast Back”
